MyCARE HQ Office
Project Overview
MyCARE HQ Office is located in a 4-storey dual-lot building and spans approximately 8,000 square feet. Designed by Firadaus Khazis Architect, this project reflects architecture with a purpose.
It is more than just an office. It is a space shaped by compassion, resilience, and service to humanity. As a result, the design takes on a meaningful and raw character, shaped by context and mission.
Design Narrative
The concept behind this space tells a powerful story. It reflects the hardship found in war-torn regions and the strength of the communities affected. Instead of hiding flaws, the design embraces them.
Broken brick walls are left exposed and fragmented on purpose. These elements act as living memory walls. Through them, the space speaks about loss, healing, and survival.
Moreover, the imperfections are not there for decoration. They are part of a deeper message — one that encourages empathy, reflection, and gratitude for peace.
Material Strategy
Due to budget limitations, the project uses recycled materials and salvaged furniture. Because of this, the space feels honest and grounded.
Rammed earth walls and reused fittings bring a tactile, unfinished quality to the space. This rawness invites people to feel and reflect, not just to observe. In contrast to polished corporate spaces, MyCARE HQ is intentionally rough.
Furthermore, the choice of materials supports sustainability. It reduces waste and gives new life to discarded elements.
Message Behind the Space
This space is a physical reflection of the values it supports — humanity, resilience, and remembrance. Visitors are invited to pause, think, and reconnect.
Ultimately, MyCARE HQ reminds us that architecture can be more than form and function. It can carry meaning, tell stories, and serve communities.
